Blender Ice Cream (Chocolate Chocolate Chip)

We finally developed a very chocolatey blender ice cream recipe. Although it is not as rich as an ice cream maker recipe, it has the advantage of being ready in mere seconds!

In a blender add:

• 1/4 cup milk
• 1/4 cup heavy cream
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• 2 Tbsp coconut flour
• 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
• 5 squares of Trader Joe's 70% Chocolate Bar, roughly chopped (or 2.25 ounces of other quality chocolate)
• 1 tsps vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups ice (we use 12 ice maker pieces)

Blend on the Ice Crush setting.

If you do not mind some banana flavor, a recommended addition is:

• 1 banana

The banana really improves the consistency and allows it to freeze as ice cream instead of as a brick of flavored ice.
