Lebkuchengewuerz Pancakes
The spice mix lebkuchengewuerz makes German lebkuchen, printen, and pfeffernusse recipes taste so yummy.
This is my pancake adaptation.
In a blender, combine:
- 4 eggs
- 4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) butter, slightly softened
- 2 cup milk
- 2 cup teff flour
- 1/2 cup quinoa flour
- 1 cup tapioca flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 5 tsp lebkuchengewuerz spice mix
- 1/4 tsp orange extract
- pinch of salt
