David and Pop-Pop's Europe Trip
Before We Leave

Pop-Pop and I stand in front of his car after loading the luggage. Since Pop-Pop wears a hat when he travels, I decided to do so also. My hat is not as nifty, however.

The house in back is not Bubba and Pop-Pop's house. Bubba is standing in her driveway taking our picutre. Their house is before us, where you can't see it. But it looks sort of like the house behind us except for the entryway.

On the lawn at the end of their street there is a rabbit, probably. But it's not in the picture either. The hills in the background were being developed at the time, in a bulldozery sort of way that had more noise than visible progress. But the rabbits were fleeing to Bubba and Pop-Pop's neighborhood.

Since this picture was taken it has been six years. I don't have the hat, necklace, jacket, shirt, pants, or socks any more. Pop-Pop has a new car, but probably still has his clothes. I still have and use my belt.
