David and Pop-Pop's Europe Trip
Pisa, Italy
My most vivid memory of Pisa is the bowl of minestrone soup I had in a cafe. I probably will never have another like it.
But what people know about Pisa is it's Leaning Tower. Actually, there are several famous buildings adjacent to each other, including a domed observatory. They are on a grass plot that is the only grass in sight, surrounded by a fence. It looks much more like a faiground exhibit than ancient architecture, at least until you go inside.
Again I had to use two pictures to capture everything.
