David and Pop-Pop's Europe Trip
Salzberg, Austria
In Salzberg for the afternoon, we quickly were typical tourists in the city.
We saw the fountain of Poseidon.

We looked up at the castle-palace, but did not visit. (Can you see the train track up the hill to the castle?)

We bought a musical instrument (a harmonica), to celebrate the city of The Sound of Music.

And we visited the famous gardens.

Diary--July 12th, 1994
This afternoon, in Saltzberg, we found the inexpensive harmonica. It used up all our schillings and U.S. singles to purchase it, except one schilling and a half. So we thought--Pop-Pop found twelve more schillings in his pockets, which we spent on a toblerone bar.
