Once my wife asked me to help proofread an academic chapter she was writing to instruct geneticists in using the ZFIN database. I tried to be helpful in practical ways, and also suggested an introductory poem.

As zebrafish swim
In a sea of warm data
We teach hunting skills
So people of coming days
Can catch our mind and many words
