This dance was choreographed by Ann Kruit and Jeremy Sherer to fit the song "Anachnu M'vorachim". It fits music that has a 16-beat chorus with 24-beat verses.
Each numbered step takes eight beats of music. The entire dance is done facing inward (except for the turn). Part A is done holding hands, Part B is not.
Part A
- Mayim L (starting with R foot crossing in front of left foot), and repeat
- Tcherkessia, and repeat
Part B
- {hands sway} Catch your weight by crossing R foot in front of left foot and then rocking back onto your L foot (also called a coupé L). Then return your R foot to a neutral standing position. Then catch your weight by crossing L foot in front of right foot and then rocking back onto your R foot (also called a coupé R). Then return your L foot to a neutral standing position. Then once more catch your weight by crossing R foot in front of left foot and then rocking back onto your L foot (also called a coupé L).
- {hands raised to head height} Three-count turn over right shoulder (spin 360 degrees, clockwise as seen from above, R-L-R), then catch your weight by crossing L foot in front of right foot and then rocking back onto your R foot (also called a coupé R). Then return your L foot to a neutral standing position. Then once more catch your weight by crossing R foot in front of left foot and then rocking back onto your L foot (also called a coupé L).
- {hands held high, hands snap at each leap and then sway with body} Leap R and then cross L foot in front of right foot; again leap R and then cross L foot in front of right foot; sway R and then bring L foot close to right foot without shifting weight to left foot, then sway L and then bring R foot close to left foot without shifting weight to right foot.
